Petals & Patches Design Class
Petals & Patches Design Class
Junior Flowers Badge - Girl Scout Troop # 4186
Spring Floral Design Class on Wednesday, March 18th from 6-8pm
Discover that flowers are more than just beautiful! In this hands-on floral design class, Girl Scout Troop # 4186 will explore the wonderful world of flowers while earning their Junior Flowers Badge.
Guided by our senior floral designer, Kristen, scouts will dive into the science, structure, and purpose of flowers, learning how blooms grow, communicate, and help people every day. From looking closely at petals and stems to uncovering the meaning behind different flowers, this class blends creativity with discovery.
Each scout will design their own spring-inspired floral arrangement to take home, using fresh seasonal blooms while practicing design skills, teamwork, and self-expression. Please note: parents accompanying children do not need a ticket, but if you are participating and creating your own vase, you will need to register.
This engaging workshop fulfills all badge requirements in a fun, age-appropriate setting—perfect for curious minds and creative hands!
