Graduation ceremonies are coming up quick, so don’t forget about the flowers! The best way to congratulate the grad is with a bouquet of fresh flowers (and they look great in photos, too!) You can’t go wrong with a corsage for the ladies and a boutonniere for the guys – they’re the perfect finishing touch to every cap and gown! In addition to the flowers that compliment the outfit with a wearable flower, there are other options to explore such as a presentation bouquet. What a great way to show recognition for all of the grads hard work.
If you’re getting flowers for the actual ceremony consider matching with the schools colors. We never suggest spraying or dying fresh flowers, but there are plenty of ways to incorporate matching colors with natural flowers, ribbon and/or tissue paper!
Also think about their personality or favorite flower to add a special touch into the arrangement. Flowers, especially their favorite flower will add so much more joy to this exciting occasion. If you are unsure if they have a specific preference, try mixing a lot of varieties so they can enjoy a little bit of everything!
After the ceremony there should be a party, right? Flowers also make the perfect décor for tables at a graduation party. Our suggestion? If you have seen enough of their school colors, choose a centerpiece with yellow and green. Yellow symbolizes success, green symbolizes new beginnings. Could it be any more perfect to wish your graduate well!
