What flowers are appropriate to send to the hospital?
Low-scent flowers, plants, and gifts are great things to send to a hospital. Our favorites include daisies, carnations, succulents, dish gardens, balloons, chocolates, plushies, and fruit baskets.
We also recommend small or compact arrangements that are easy for the hospital staff, family, or patient to move.
Can Flowers & Fancies deliver to the ICU?
Typically, hospitals will accept delivery to the ICU, but we would recommend sending flowers to the family if the patient is in the ICU. ICU stands for Intensive Care Unit and giving the doctors or nurses as much space as possible is highly recommended.
What happens if my flowers become undeliverable?
If an order is placed and we cannot deliver to the patient due to where they are in the hospital then our next step would be to hold the order until the patient is in a place that is deliverable to us. Whether that is a different hospital room or deliver to a home address once they are discharged.
Are COVID delivery limitations still in place?
Currently, Covid delivery limitations are not in place. If things change, we will reach out to you for an alternative plan. We are honored to follow all hospital rules and regulations.
