Dreaming of Darcey: The Prince Charming of Garden Roses
P R I N C E D A R C E Y
Bred by the Austin family of England, Darcey starts as a soft ball
of rich fuchsia petals and slowly blooms into a deep crimson rosette,
giving off a delightfully fruity aroma. He is arogant, but rightfully so,
for he is incredibly beautiful, noble, and vibrant, like his cousin,
Fitzwilliam Darcy, from Pride & Prejudice.

While the Darcey garden rose is bred by the Austin family in England,
ours are grown by Alexandra Farms, a boutique flower grower specializing
in nostalgic, romantic, fresh-cut garden roses. The farm is located in the fertile
savanna of Bogotá, high in the Andes Mountains of Colombia, where warm
days and cool nights are perfect for growing roses.
"My affections and wishes are unchanged; but
one word from you will silence me on this subject
for ever." - Mr. Darcy Pride & Prejudice
