HOW IS FLOWERS & FANCIES HANDLING COVID-19?

Given the recent developments surrounding the spread of COVID-19, the Flowers & Fancies family wants to assure you that we are taking every step possible to ensure the health and safety of our clients, and  partners and team.

We are closely monitoring the situation and are adhering to all CDC protocols and guidelines.  At our design studio and warehouse and telephone office we are regularly sanitizing all work stations, spaces and surfaces and practicing safe social distancing  , but we remain vigilant in working to ensure safety remains the top priority.

Additionally, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) have no reports of human illnesses that suggest COVID-19 can be transmitted by packaging, food or fresh products like flowers

As an additional precaution, we are providing non-contact service. The delivery driver will leave the package  just outside your recipient's door and after returning to their vehicle notify them by phone and  eliminate the need for a signature. This makes for a  safe , contact-free delivery.

CAN FLOWERS & FANCIES STILL MAKE DELIVERIES?        YES, WE PROVIDE NON-CONTACT FLORAL DELIVERY SERVICE

With our Non-Contact Delivery Service the delivery driver will leave the package just outside your recipient's door and after returning to their vehicle notify them by phone and eliminate the need for a signature. This makes for a safe, contact free delivery. 

 

IS IT APPROPRIATE TO SEND FLOWERS DURING THE COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS?   YES.

Flowers celebrate the special occasions and people in your life.  With contact and gatherings being restricted to maximum of 10,  now is the perfect time to share your sentiments through a  lovely  bouquet of flowers or indoor tropical plant. Sending your heartfelt sentiments with an attached card message will let your recipient know exactly what you are thinking.   

 

CAN I HAVE FLOWERS DELIVERED TO HOSPITALS AND REHABILITATION CENTERS?   NO

At this time, we are unable to make deliveries to hospitals and most nursing homes and rehab centers.  They are off limits to visitation and floral deliveries.  

 

CAN I HAVE FLOWERS DELIVERED TO A FUNERAL OR VISITATION?   YES

We continue to service families and friends for funeral. With the limitation of 10 people at a funeral, now more than ever sending your sentiments will be even more meaningful to those that are grieving.  We make sympathy deliveries all over the Baltimore Metro area every day.  Until we hear differently from local funeral homes and churches, we will continue to make these deliveries. 

Please provide as much information as you have regarding the visitation or service in the Special Delivery Instructions field when you place your order online.  We will also attempt to call the funeral home or church to verify these details.  If you find that the details of an order already placed have changed, please notify us as soon as possible so we can make the changes on our end and get your gift delivered.
